Rainbow foam fun!

July 20, 2017

Today we had rainbow foam for sensory play!Β :D
It's easy to set up and using items that can be found at home.
It is a fun activity for children to learn about colours recognition, mixing and observing colour changes, or just simply had fun during bath time covered in multi-coloured foam!

What you'll need:
- 2 tbsp of body shampoo
- 1/4 cup of water
- electric mixer
- food colouringΒ
- mixing bowl (or small pail to prevent splatters!)
- a big tubΒ

How to make it:
- Add body shampoo, food colouring and water into a bowl/pail
- Use an electric mixer on the highest possible setting for 1-2min (Your foam should be able to form stiff peaks that hold their shape.
- Scoop it out into your container and repeat necessary until you have the desired amount of foam.

You may have a fun showering activity with your child at home, especially for those who are rejecting showering routinesΒ :)
Alternatively, you can use the leftover foam for washing toilet floor too!Β

Have fun with rainbow foam!Β :)

To all tired parents:Β
"No matter how long the rain lasts, there will be a rainbow in the end. No matter how sad you may be, believe, that happiness is waiting."

Hang in there and remember you are not alone in this walk!Β
